1965 Graduate of Castlewood High School, Castlewood, South
Dakota
1965 - 1966 Two years attendance
at South Dakota State University majoring in electrical engineering
and minoring in basic economics and forestry.
1967 One year attendance
at Spokane Community College in a constructional electricity
course.
1968 - 1971 Four years in
a Washington State certified electrical apprenticeship course
through Local 73 Electrical Workers, Spokane, Washington at
Spokane Community College. |

1966
– 1967 Worked during the summers for the
US Forest Service Hot Shot Crew as a fire fighter.
1968 Columbic Electrical
Wholesale (now Amfac Electric)
1969 – 1980 Crampton
Electric, Inc. – Started as an electrical apprentice
and then graduated up from a job foreman to an estimator and
project manager. Most of the work was commercial and industrial
electrical work.
1981 – May 1990 I began
an electrical contracting business called River City Electric,
Inc. with a partner. We specialized in commercial and industrial
electrical work which included:
(1) Explosion proof electrical on petroleum bulk plants and
gasoline service stations. (2) Commercial offices and businesses.
(3) Commercial electrical for the US Navy, Adak, Alaska.
(4) Overseas work for World Wide Spectacolor in Saudi Arabia,
Cairo, Egypt and London.
(5) Electrical Service and control work for General Telephone
Company and Pacific Northwest Bell. While I was in my own
business, I worked as an electrical journeyman, project manager
and estimator. In May of 1990 I sold my portion of the
business
to pursue other personal interests in the electrical industry.
May 1990 - Present Intermountain
Electric - Vice President, Project Manager and
Estimator. I have estimated and
managed projects from $100,000 to $4,400.000. |
